Default New Orleans in B/W (image heavy)

Did semi-annual (I go about 4 times a year) photography walk-about around New Orleans today. There was a fog advisory issued today, so I was hoping for some great foggy images. I leave my house about 4am, heavy fog (100 meter visibility). As I enter the city of New Orleans, the fog just disappears.

I decided to do mostly B/W and some abstracts

Really strong set AT - The BW totally works and gives a few of the images (interior bus in particular) a vintage look.
Faves are the violinist, guitar guy and 10 o'clock.

These are very nice, giving a great flavor of New Orleans. I'm especially enjoying the second photo, neworleans14. It's quite busy, but each element is interesting in and of itself. But as a street scene the picture works as a whole. The black and white fires my imagination, what would the real colors be, so I don't miss the color at all. On the contrary, the black and white shows the complexity of the photo and the many focal points and shapes. Now if I could just figure out what the dude in the middle is doing. Oh, maybe he's checking his text messages...

I really like this set too and the B & w suits the subject matter.

My faves are New Orleans 6 (the eyes are great) and New Orleans 4 (well seen and captured)

What a really cool set. Well done. I love the arms in the basket and neworleans4 is awesome too. No loitering and no smoking sign behind the guy who is loitering and smoking. Love it!
