Film Favorites

All these are Kodak TriX 400 with various Canon lenses. I find it hard to keep track of what I shot, when and where, so I made a spreadsheet for my iPhone
using One Note. Other ideas appreciated. Thanks for taking a look.

I have a couple of apps that work good for me, but to really keep up with every thing it might be better to rely on only one. There's more than a few out there for iOS and android and since I have more android devices than Apple products, I settled on one called PhotoExif. It works like a champ and I'm keeping up with about ten or twelve cameras with it.

Nice set MB. Yes the sunflower is my favourite here too.

Good on you for getting into film and sticking with it. I must confess that I have pretty much given up on it. I have had the same film in the camera since January still half finished. I think when I use up the 3 rolls I currently have I may give it away for the foreseeable future. I do find that I can achieve most of what I want to do in PP this days. For nostalgia I do like using my old film cameras though.

My preferences are the the 'forest' and the 'sunflower' with the edge going to the sunflower.

As much as as I still have my old film camera I have to admit I haven't been tempted at all to drag it out and try re-using it. That's probably because I always shot colour and never processed my own film (slides). I have no idea where I would get it processed today. I do however appreciate the unique quality of film and the effort photographers go through in its processing.

Thanks again for the comments. Yes, shooting film has it's charms for sure, but isn't for everyone. And for many instances the digital cameras are far superior. The film process is so time consuming and involves so many more steps than digital. asnow, I'd be interested to know what kind of film camera you have. It's been fun for me to have more than one film camera with me with different lenses and different films to vary the shots I'm taking.
