Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks Matt. Was more of a fun play as shot is nothing special, but snow texture/landscape reminds me of the moon surface. Shot in front yard out dining window.

It does look very surreal. After reading the comments about how it is just the snow and the texture you were studying, I couldn't help but notice the bird which sort of blends in to the whole scene. Its really cool something that would usually stand out in a color version of the picture almost slips past you in the black and white version. Just goes to show you how different the two styles really are. Thanks for this. It gets the creative thoughts flowing..

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

    Thank you very much JJ.
Was a "decent" capture in colour, but just thought with the texture and shapes it looked a little lunar-like, so converted to b&w, added a little grain, and voila. Moon surface.
