Off the Bench

I like this image but would have been better if I did not cut off the foot in the right lower corner. Also I could have made the bench a little more sharper with a smaller aperture.

Since you are okay with critique in any forum...

The image is about the bench but you've included many other elements in your scene like the stone pavement and the triangular doorway in the background, bright flowers in the midground...
Our eyes will explore these elements and decide quickly if we like the image.

When all or most of the elements work harmoniously with each other, then you have a better recipe for a better image. For me, many of the elements in this scene are distractions. The harmony is missing. Overall, imo, this wasn't the best angle to shoot that bench.

Marko, thanks for the honesty. Although praise is nice when due, I post on this forum not for flattery but to learn, grow and improve...so no worries. Keep the feedback coming.

Yes I have to agree with marko here, the flowers and such are very busy and almost camouflage the bench.
