Just playing around with these. I do not have all the borders and titles exactly the same but I was just experimenting with this concept:
Wow, the new Flickr looks great but it took me awhile to figure out how to get the links out.
I think all of these are great, and the BW works. Just imagining some old guy lying in the weeds after he took a tumble with the wheelbarrow.

Interesting set, JAS. Kinda reminds me of the way Mad Aussie presents some of his sets. I like it but it seems like a fair bit of work.
