Autumn in the air

Out today to get pics of the geese before they all head south for the winter. This is my first attempt at B & W on a living creature and my first post in this section. I didn't like it in colour but don't mind it in B & W.

oops sorry for the ambiguous question - what I meant was, "What software did you use to do the conversion and/or other processing in"?

Sorry Ed, actually thought that may be what you meant, but wasn't quite sure.
Just used Aperture 3 with a quick one minute tweak on this one is all.

The shallow depth of field is perfect and the entire photograph works very well.

I was thinking I could recall seeing you post many B&Ws. I like it and hope to see some more.
