    Default Street Portrait

This young man was sitting on the sidewalk, back against a wall, listening to a blues street musician next to him. I looked at him, took the shot and went on my way. We never exchanged a word between us.

    Comments & critique welcome.

    Thank you for viewing.

Very cool, Lorey. I really like this one. Nicely done.

Very well taken. The informal setting works well for the subject.

Nice one Lorey. He obviously wasnt too concerned about having his photo taken, but his expression seems to be a mixture of amusement and bemusement. Really well done.

Did he know you took the picture? Great shot, and wonderfully composed.

Thanks Runmonty and Matt. Yes Matt, he sat there looking at me while I took a few shots of the guitar player. His girlfriend was sitting next to him so I thought I'd get a shot of them since he seemed to be looking at me like "take our picture". She is in the original but unfortunately she was drinking out of a straw from a 24 ounce cup when I took it so I just cropped her out composed it to get the best I could out of the shot.
