    Default Tools of the Trade

    I am a body repair man, and I have been kicking around the idea of a projet showing Body shop life...Here is the first image.

    Great idea and nicely executed.

    Perhaps a monthly assignment idea ?? - images from our employment / professions etc??
    I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

    I LOVE both ideas put forth here....this vey well may become a personal project for me, with publishing in the future!
    ...and the monthly assignment idea it a good one as well!

    interesting processing - I like the image as a whole.
    If i have one comment it's be aware of the brighter elements in the scene as the eye rests on those elements. For me, in this image the hammer at bottom right is the main focal point.
    However, the bright object at top left that looks like a log is equally bright and so it competes for my attention.
    being aware of this during the shot is best. But burning in this brighter element in post, might be a decent solve in this case if it also bothers your eye.

    Make sure you try to do a few HDR, a body shop would be the perfect setting for that style.
