    Default Change in the weather

Because I cross the Golden Gate Bridge every work day I've had the opportunity to take a lot of shots of it in a wide variety of weather conditions. Unfortunately, we had a very long, virtually windless Indian Summer for most of October. No wind means hazy, brownish, cloudless skies over the bay and bridge. Bleck! To remedy the hazy sky problem in this shot, I used a little Photoshop/Nik Silver Efex trickery. The fog was indeed swirling around, but the "blue" sky in image was a distraction. I converted it to black and white and then feathered in white vignetting. The result, I think, gave the image an old timey look plus made the weather look more extreme than it was.
