Default The Top of the Stairs

I shot this Saturday at the College of San Mateo (a little south of San Francisco). The girl was talking to someone out of the image to the right but she turned her head and noticed me just as I was about to push the button. She seemed a little surprised but didn't object.

The original image wasn't quite the silhouette that I wanted so I darkened it a little in PhotoLine when I converted it to monochrome.

Positive and negative comments are welcome.

    Hi ron,

In Trying to darken the image, do u feel u lost some details(Stair case, wud hv loved to c horizontal lines of stairs intersected by shadow of railings), same thing for girl, even though u tried to do her silhouette some part of her is still exposed to light..(IMO-silhouette sud not show other details than just shape, but tats just me) Although her body language seems interesting..hop it helps..
