    Default A personal challange-more people.

Still making efforts to move out of my comfort zone I have started taking photos of people on the streets of Dublin. The first couple here are street portraits of two members of a band called Mutefish. They are great with the crowd and seem happy to at least look at the cameras for photos.

I find taking pictures of strangers a little daunting and my hope is that doing this will make the process easier and help my photography. I processed and scanned this film myself which is another new venture for myself. The effort involved in processing the film is making me have a more measured approach to the street photography as the "spray and pray" policy is now a thing of the past.

Nice results. I like the engagement in number two. Good on you for stepping out of your comfort zone.

Just a couple more from the same series, as I take more I think I will add them here rather than clog up the threads.

Nice series, wonderful challenge. I like 5 and 6, however, I would have tried to incorporate more of the instrument here. Especially cutting off the end of the guitar seems a bit harsh, would have loved to see the hand on the fretboard in its entirety here.

Completely agree here Matt K, these chaps play in the city most weekends so I have a retry already in mind. They are pretty intense looking when playing so I may go a bit closer for a head shot. I think here I have made the mistake of trying to get to much and missing both.
