I really like this one as well - very moving.
Personally I find the outer frame too much, the image is so very strong and now it competes with a frame. I see the frame 'matches' the image but the photo can so stand on its own imo....it just doesn't need that outer frame.
I KNOW you have a very focused idea of how your images should look Ernst, so I also know you'll ignore my comment and not be upset that I made it.

    Thanks guys!!

Yep Marko! ;-) Whenever I have a showing of my work in a Gallery I always present my work with white musuem mat board, double matted and sometimes triple matted, the Old Musuem Look. I also have a need to present my work on the internet in my own way, either with this frame or other ways of presenting that work.
Today I like it, tomorrow that might change. ;-) Thanks!

Looks like a very nice photo judging by the light, and having seen your work in here a bit, I'm sure it's brilliant. But I agree with Marko, half of this photo is a background that renders the image quite small on my screen so the quality of the shot is lost somewhat to me.
Again though, and as always, being one that loves the combination of light and shadow, it looks very good.

the beauty and simplicity of the image is lost in the complexity of the frame and bg. but this is a very beautiful image but makes me a little sad.
