Cool shots/compositions ... sharp, strong tones, black blacks and white whites ... they look like winners to me!

A very nice set indeed. The bikes and that portrait are my favourites.

The bikes and portrait shots are my fave as well, but the happy guy made me smile.

Nice set, there is just something alluring about the contrast you get from film. 1 and 2 for me. Great hat, and great name for the pharmacy.

Thanks for the comments, I am really enjoying learning with the film and the feedback I have received on the form has been essential, Tim, the "pharmacy" is a sweet shop, which specializes in American candy. Nice selection but i am more of a Cadburys man myself.

Here is a couple more from the same day out.

Boo, I liked it better when I thought it was a pharmacy Would have been a genius name, although I expect the codgers on the medical council would have had collective apoplexy.

Quite a nice set, dig the BW here.
My faves are happy pills and 1st shot post 7.
In that shot I can see vignetting and you chopped some of it out. In this rarer of cases, the vignetting adds quite a bit to the shot imo. I'd actually go back to the file if it were mine and include as much of the vignetting as possible to see if I like it. (pretty sure I would). Just for comparison I took a shot this winter of the Montreal Biosphere w/deliberate vignetting in case you wanted to take a look.
    Best! Marko

Thanks Marko, i like your Biosphere shot, I take you point about the vignetting. A big cause of the vignetting in that shot is that I have my sigma 10-20mm DX lens mounted on a 35mm film camera. If i am wider that 15mm you can pretty much see the inside of the lens in the photos, I think in some cases it works, but definitely not all the time. Thanks again for the feedback.

PS see below for the extreme end of my use of the DX lens on the film body!
