Really beautiful shot Kat. really like the details on the leaf. I might shave off a bit on the right to improve the balance. but that is it. great detail.
what equipment did you use? and what settings was this taken in (ISO, Aperture / shutter speed) I'd like to konw

I like the idea of this, but I'd like to see a tighter crop as this one looks accidental if you know what I mean. As if you didn't mean to cut off the front of the flower. Also maybe a bit more dynamic range...it looks muddy although not by much. maybe another angle. I like where you're going with it though.
I like the the creative attempt at an unusual composition.
For me though, the comp here is not working...this is happening imo because the flower's head is leaving the frame and our eye is following it out of the frame.
If the flower's head was included in the frame (and possibly hanging downward) it would make this image stronger for me.
