    Default Street from the hip

In my welcome thtread I was told to post some photos. I've already posted some colour zoo ones, so here are some of my favourites from one of my other pastimes, from-the-hip street shooting while I go to pick up my lunchtime sandwich

What a really cool set, thoughton. "Wrong Tool" is awesome! Looks like you got caught in "Two Stares". Great stuff!

Very nice set indeed Thoughton. Love the "Snow White" shot.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Those are really well done. I've done it occasionally, even sometimes by accident but I've never thought of them as b&ws. Those captures are wonderful!

Interesting pics. When I first looked at #1 it looked as if a meter maid was about to give some poor old soul a ticket!!

Thanks for the comments! I do enjoy this sort of photography, it's a lot of fun looking for the interesting shot and then getting back to the computer hoping that you haven't cut off a head or a foot (which happens all the time!). These are some of the better ones from the last few months, I also tend to end up with a lot of 'people walking' photos which are less interesting.

Oh I forgot to post this one as well, one of my favourite recent ones although not quite so 'street' as I was so obsessed with trying to fix the blown out highlights in this photo that I ended up replacing the burnt out bits with detail from another shot from the same spot but taken on a different day.
