    Default Morning at Lake O'Hara

Greg and I ventured out into Yoho National Park. Idea was to see if we could catch the bus up to Lake O'Hara. Usually these bus rides are booked weeks in advance, and the bus is the only way to get up there, other than hiking in for 11Km. So we set out, fully expecting #1 to have lousy weather, #2 to freeze our nuggets off and #3 not to get on the bus. I even got up @ 4:30am to pick Greg up @ 5:30.

We made it through to Lake O'Hara parking lot driving through fog and drizzle. When we got there we were put on a WAITING list. Thank heavens someone had canceled and we managed to get on the bus (freaking lucky); once we neared the top, the clouds and fog started to give way. Had a most fabulous day there. Oh, and Greg tried to kill me chasing me up to the next set of lakes. Switchbacks galore, but it was worth it.

Since I am dog tired, there is just one image I quickly managed to share with all of you

Matt purposely left his tripod at the bottom so I couldn't take him across some of the real exciting trails We had to go back to find it.

I love the low lying cloud and the mist. Very misterious and you made it on the dark side in your processing. Nice work. Mike
