    Default Old Pup

    The dog wondered over to our camp site from another camp and something screamed take a picture of me...
    He must have been a cross of a chocolate lab and a golden retriever. I don't know why but I felt compelled to go b/w with him... seems to have worked...

    I know they seem a bit blown out though... I just seem to keep over exposing all my pix...

    The last one is not blown out. Looks like a dark doggy with a very bright background. Hard not to blow the sky out with something like that. Dark doggies are best photographed against a background that is a little closer to their own colour. The third one is excellent.

    Yea, he was chocholate brown.. Tried a few color shots but it just didn't do anything for me..
    The sky was totaly white that day.. Everthing was so flat because of the difused light all around. Any pic with the sky in it was totaly very bright.. I was a little miffed cuz there were so many good opertunities for great shots,

    I could have taken the first two pointing down, but I really wanted to get a different perspective so I got on my belly and came down to his level. I still love the first photo a lot, he just had so much charater.. like he had a story to tell..
