Coming from a bw background...I must disagree.
I always tried to keep negs super-clean when printing and I always spotted out dust marks. For me, dust marks are the digital equivalent of dust on the sensor, and they show up as circular marks in the photo...and most people clone them out.
You are the master of the shot though so it's your call.
