Default Medalta Potteries - Dusty Stuff

Finally had some time to convert some images I took on the trip to the Medalta Potteries. Tried my hand with conversion to monochrome, then decided that duotone would be nicer. here are some exaples of what I came up with; every factory had to have something 'driving it' ...so here are two driveshaft and flywheel images

The open gears intrigued me quite a bit. To think that people worked there, in temperatures hovering around 40° + with high humidity, on long shifts for a pittens of a wage ... and thought nothing of it ... is quite amazing. Never mind the heat and humidity: but all the open gears and machinery would be enough to send OH&S into outer space
