    Default Angels by candlelight

Well, here it is: a series of images taken with 1 (one) tealight for a light source. It started out behind the figurine (was the only thing handy at the moment) and then I moved it in front of the angel. After importing it from Bridge to Photoshop for conversion from RAW to jpg, I thought I try and learn a bit more about some of the features of this conversion. The very last image is showing the applied grain to the photograph. Is it an improvement? I dunno ... anyway, here is what the first image looks like.

Then I put this thing into Photoshop and experimented with the glass filter

This is what the darn thing looks like when lit from the front ...

and finally I went crazy and put grain into it like there was no tomorrow, with this result

I am partial to the 2nd and the 4th one Matt. I like the abstract quality the editing in PS gave the first one and the grain works for me in the second.....very nicely done.
