Oh Jimmy, I have a pair of those in my basement. Where was the Camlachie Rink? I can't believe they just dumped the skates. I am a big believer in donating unwanted items.

Hey Foots. The Camlachie Roller Rink was located in Southern Ontario, Canada. Across from the old YMCA Camp Kenny. These skates sat for many many years just slowly decaying! I highly doubt if anyone would really want them - jimmy

I see you are north of Chatham, so that is probably why I haven't heard of the rink. By now they are probably beyond redemption, but when the rink first closed .....

I am a bleeding heart for strays and lost souls. Can't help it.

this is nice Jimmy. Yesterday I was visiting my mom and she had been going through old photos. She gave me one of me sitting on railing with some other guys and girls and we're all wearing these roller skates. I remembered how we would go and skate around to disco music. I think I was 15-16 in this pic.

    how time flies.
