This is a discussion on Which Came First? within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; ...
I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling badly. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Thanks, Iggy. I think I will edit that part out as it has nothing to do with the photo.

I really like this JAS. the colours of the eggs and the simplicity of the chicken are really working for me here. I would definitely hang this on the wall of my kitchen!

Very well done Jas - I too really dig the simplicity and originality here. Nominated.

Thanks all and thanks Marko! It was your link on facebook to the "bald monk's" facebook page which gave me the idea. Flickr: Bald Monk's Photostream I think I may try it again just to completely take the texture out of the background and try a few more simple strobist ideas as well.
Cool shoot. Amazing how such a pretty egg can come from such a ugly chicken ... but then people say something similar about me and my kids
