    Oh very nice!!! Love the softness.. excellent use of you DOF. I just purchased a Nikon 50m f1.4...and mostly use it for live concerts that I shoot for clients. It rarely leaves my camera.

    Hey Infocus. Thanks so much for your nice comments. I have only taken a few shots with my new 50 mm 1.4 and am very impressed. Combined with the low light ability of the D700, I don't really see much need for a flash. Neat to use when you don't want to carry around a heavy and conspicuous zoom Well thanks again Infocus - jimmy
