This is a discussion on Calgary City Hall within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Not your usual picturebook view:...
Lol, that is funny. At first I had the shot lined up with the downtown core, you know a juxtaposition of the city and the power that runs the city but then I turned to city hall (municipal buildings). A power grid on a grid. I did not really think of the powers that be but there they are. They both run the city in their own way.
cool shot - does the power lines and structure ever reflect in the glass of the city Hall?

Ed, I honestly don't know. The part you see in the photo is really the back/side of the building and I have never tried to walk around it. It is a few blocks away from Enmax though so it is highly likely that it does not reflect since the Enmax transformers are rather low profile compared to everything else in the area.
