That's because all my photos were deleted from my server, second time I've been hacked Funnier still...My Flicker site was deleted So I've been busy changing all my passwords, online banking...Everything Easier to fix than graffiti I guess Fortunately I keep a duplicate folder of all my online images so that part was fairly simple and Flickr...Didn't get much action anyway so I'll just sit on that for a while I'm one of those fools who has the same password for most stuff except for here and two other forums, my brain just aint big enough to hold all them damn passwords!

My brain isn't big enough to hold that many passwords, either. Which is why I write them down. They aren't near the computer, and it isn't obvious what they are. The "experts" that tell you to use a unique one for each account and to memorize them are crazy. Just about everyone has far too many computer, bank, and card accounts for that to be even remotely realistic.

Damn that sucks M! And kinda weird someone would attack you on both sites like that. That's sounding a bit personal to me.

You would laugh if you knew how improbable that was Best I can figure is (and I'm no hacker) if one could crack my server, one could get my name. If one had my name, one could run it through Google and get images relating to sites I frequent after that they'd just get lucky because my passwords were the same...Problem with that theory though is my username which is quite often different I'm at a loss but...They also deleted an account I had at another Olympus web site from way back. Personally...I think Maxi is a security risk, she's always watching when I type

I still think it sounds too personal ... and now you add the Olympus site ... even less likely a coincidence. Maybe someone googled you after the first hack ... but I don't know. Be sure ... Interrogate the cat! I never did trust those beady little yellow eyes!!

Wouldn't want to be small and see that first thing in the morning

Interestingly the first hack I tracked to a famous Russian hacker who's name I'll be damned if I can recall but I remember at the time thinking "Well at least the little bugger was famous". Sort of took the edge off on the violated feeling
