Where I'm standing to capture this is where the inlet ends, probably a mile or so from the ocean where it began. Always wish I could flip a switch and be back in time before the first ship ever entered this inlet...I'd love to see what it looked like with pine trees on either shore This little weather system was just moving in last night following a few days of sun.

I often wonder what locations looked like before Europeans arrived, too. Pine trees instead of buildings would be equally interesting/photogenic, but in a different way.
