Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Cool stuff, JJ. I particularily like the B&W with the aqueduct.
The series is so varied it helps to give a fuller conception of what the canal is like for those of us who have never seen it. The first shot is especially surprising and well put together. That reflection of sky and tree just makes it. thanks for posting.
These are all great but I think the 1st one with the reflection grabs me the most!

very very nice set JJ! Shot 1 for me. I know it's not critique...but a burn around the top part of the arch will make this singing shot sing even louder.
Hope that helps- Marko

Here is a landscape view of the image I posted in the critique thread. All part of the canal still.
There are other versions/edits of these images on my flickr site as well. Thank you for your kind comments. Havent been out in a while to concentrate on this stuff. Good to know I can still do this.
