Took this one yesterday. Parked my car and jogged after these horses.
One of the things I like best about this shot is that it was done with the Canon G11 which i am finding very impressive as a carry everywhere camera.

Very cool, in more ways then one! Just wondering if that person made an illegal turn or something would they give chase??? :P

I like this shot with the snow flakes gently falling. They really stand out against the horses rumps. I too carry a pocket size Nikon Coolpix S70 around with me at all times as you never know when something interesting is going to present itself and you want to capture the moment.

Very well captured. The G11 is the best of compacts and priced accordingly. So it shouldn't be under estimated. I want to have one to go beyond my actual sync speed of 1/250 some times.
Nice one Mark. Cool juxtaposition of the horses and cars and city life.
The G11 is definitely on my wish list.

I love it
Thanks for posting this Marko. I think that it's one of my favourites that you have posted.

Cool photo, Marko! Maybe they have their winter horseshoes on.
yes, Raiven is correct. In winter we shoe horses in shoes will little 'cleats' to help grip. We also put a rubber insert under the shoes to help prevent snow buildup in the shoe, which is quite dangerous.
