I realy like this...especially the feel. I wonder how it would look in B&W...would it have an even more sombre feel to it?

Thank you for your comments Rinkdaddy and Casil.
I am not very attracted "yet" by B&W photos but ... here is my try for this one. I did some burning and darkening on the sky (mabe overdone?). I'm learning and the forum here helps me a lot. Please tell me what you think.
Thanks
Clement
Great work. It is certainly a wonderful subject. I like the B&W version. Maybe it could do with a little more contrast.

Thank you AntZ for your comment.
As I said, I'm trying to learn and I get confused with the way pictures appear different when using Capture NX vs CS4 for example... also on different monitors. I must get myself a more decent monitor for photography work someday.
What I would really like is see what others could do with this photo so I could compare and see for myself the different versions.
I shot this picture in RAW + JPEG fine. So I have the original in these two formats right out of the camera. I uploaded these originals to my website and below are the links to them.

If you feel like helping me, please do whatever you think is appropriate with the picture and show the final product. Everybody is most welcomed to give it a try.
Thank you in advance.

I think the sky looks very good here. The house in particular needs more contrast. Look at the contrast in the colour version. The B/w should have this same type of contrast IMO. The rest of the photo could also use a slight contrast boost, but the house needs it most.
Hope that helps

This is quite the interesting image, zenon. Here it is with some extreme processing.
Thank you Marko. I'll try this additional contrast as you suggest.
Thank you Raiven.. You sure found a way to make it look more dramatic. I guess this comes with experience but some talent is also necessary. I really like what you did.
Thanks again.
It won't be long till you find the different ways to render a photo! I enjoy the BW version as well with a bit more contast. It can be your best friend!
Great eye and composition! That is where it all starts and can't unless you have it!
Thank you Kat. I really appreciate your comments.
Nice photo, love the muted tones in the photo. I think going to B&W with the composition you have won't be a nice as what you have now, as always just my I would stick to original.
