Calgary Skyline @ sunrise...

This is a discussion on Calgary Skyline @ sunrise... within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; I can see the blue/grey cast. I think the camera has compensated for the brightness of the reflections and under-exposed ...

    I can see the blue/grey cast. I think the camera has compensated for the brightness of the reflections and under-exposed slightly.

    Man with a cool sky in the background this shot could really result in a cool photo. Keep at it Casil.

    and don't forget about that cheater mode - exposure compensation - you get three shots for the price of one - or sometimes more if your camera can accomodate -- meter on some mid point place of exposure too

    I quite like this shot - great light on the buildings as mentioned.
    Although the shot does have a bluish cast to my eye, it's not a big distraction for me; it works with 'morning' imo.

    This was the scene this morning...I didn`t use the larger lens this time so I had to crop it a bit. I`m not too worried as I see this 5 days a week on my way to school so there`s lots of time to get it right if anyone else has any tips.

    HDR Merge to cope with the bright reflection and darker areas of the city. Get a nice sky with a few clouds in it also reflection the suns colour.
