I like them both! Maybe the second would be my pick although I like the texture in the first as well.
Kat, this is wonderful to see. Being a sucker for these types of shots, I agree with Ig and say the first one is the best. Its great to see people get away from landscapes, wildlife, street-life etc. These types of images are where its at. Good job!

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. I like these types of shots when I see them and I like these particular ones quite a bit. I haven't quite figured out why. They are kind of abstract and I guess my tech brain has a hard time with abstract.
