    Yeah, I'm not fond of the background either but it was convenient at the time. I need a better camera to reduce the DOF enough that it would just really be a blur and therefore less distracting. My little Kodak point and shoot just didn't offer enough options. :(

    See, I like the background because it reminds me of summer BBQ"S and it has a bit of a 50's 60's nostalgia feel to it!
    For me the whole thing works and I wouldn't change it!!

    I like the background too. Reminds me of going to the farm in the summer or a backyard barbeque. I grew up in a small town and the neihbourhood grocery store kept their pop in a cooler that was filled with water. When you pulled the pop, it looked cool and refreshing with the water on it. On the side hung a towel to dry it and a bottle opener was attached to open the the bottle. Ha! Ha! now I am dating myself.
