Now defunct "Fantasy Gardens" owned and built by an ex-premier of our province. Sad really to watch it rot away. I never went to see it when it was a going concern, I was living in Toronto during those years.

These places are always intriguing. Crazy how much money is spent in the 'hopes' that it will work. Then when it doesn't, the place becomes desolate and almost forgotten about. Its really a shame. Nice job.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Whatever happened to old Bill and Lillian VanderZ anyhow? I wonder....does Lillian still wear those funky headbands (ala Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical" video) anymore?

Sure would like to have seen this one posted in the monthly challenge thread.
Good shot, Michael.
Me being mister no time for politics, I have no idea. I only vaguely remember Billy V. These twerps come and go leaving windmills and fast ferries strewn all over an otherwise beautiful landscape I'm waiting for the results of 2010 and our backing of the international meet up of people who tie sticks to their feet and throw themselves off mountains
Love the picture, specially the sky with the clouds.
The comp's great! It's a nice capture (as always!).
