I dig the feeling of emptiness which is duplicated in the poster. Interesting scene - well seen.

Thanks Marko. It's not hard to find empty streets in a town with a population of about 3000. FYI... Galena Kansas is where the movie Cars was inspired. here's a picture of me and my wife with Tow-Mater and the other 2 characters from the movie that's in Galena at an old restored gas station/tourist shop on the old Route 66.

Are you traveling the Great 66? I think you know I just did 66 from Texas to New Mexico last month.

Thank you Rosh for the kind comments.
AT,
yes I saw some of your awesome shots from your Route 66 trip. They were all pretty cool. As far as me traveling 66, I do it often. it runs through the city I work in, Carthage MO, and the city where we do most of our shopping, Joplin, MO.. Galena KS, where I took the pic is about 40 minutes from my house. there's several Route 66 tourist sites not too far from me.
I don't know why I thought you lived in South Carolina.
