These are odd looking things to my eye. The mooring posts give me a sense of size here but what all that stuff is on top, I have no idea!

They are just covered barges. They are as common as 18-wheelers around here. As you can tell how far they sit in the water, whether they are loaded or not. Notice how the red one sits a lot lower in the water then the other two?Originally Posted by Mad Aussie

I really like the how the diagonalish angles are repeated throughout the scene - -nicely seen

Very interesting barges. Def something new to me also.
Btw, likin' the processing here AT.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
