The engine in each of these cars, in its normally aspirated state, produces about 1500hp. A close inspection of the drivers compartment would reveal the presence of a couple of cylinders containing nitrous oxide (yeah, laughing gas) that during the pass is mixed with the high octane racing fuel on board increasing the engine's output to nearly 3000hp. Hence the term, Bottle Fed.
These cars cover an eight mile from a standing start in just under 4 seconds at a top speed of around 200mph. The ground shakes beneath their wheels.
