The old washing machines are interesting. I actually remember those (Oooops showing my age), but I really like the two B&W pics.
Thanks asnow. It's interesting what you can find in old vacant houses sometimes.
really like the black and white ones ... not so crazy about the colour ones. Seem over saturated HDR like ....

Thanks Matt. It's interesting that neither of the pic's are HDR; I have to admit #3 does look like that. I'll check the saturation levels, but I don't believe they were increased. Increased contrast, clarity and played with the light in Lightroom. But that's about it.
Cheers,
#2 by a mile!!!! I want to visit Newfoundland one day. My mom lived there for a few years when she was a teenager. When I think of Newfoundland, I imagine something along the lines of #2 image. When Marko opens Nov nomination thread, I will nominate it.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Thanks everyone. Wow AT, I certainly appreciate that.
If you're looking for adventure, way off the beaten path adventure, then Battle Harbour should be on your list
My grandmother was still using a washing machine like that when I was a kid. Why not, since it still worked? Having gone through the depression in the 30s with an infant (my dad, a late surprise), she hung onto stuff.
I'm all about the bws as well in this set - Nice!
