    NICE JAS, and congrat's on the new equipment. You are going to love it. Likin that 1st one of the second set.

    (that D800 is an awesome camera, just ensure you buy the best quality glass available to get the most of it, as it does not play well with cheap glass, as you probably already know though)
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    I'm not sure if Nikon has ever offered a tech bulletin on proper shooting techniques for any of their other models, but you can download a copy for the one released for the D800 here. Some of it is just the elementary stuff, but there are parts there that will improve your results right out of the box.
