"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
I always have a bit of a hard time with ICM shots. The OCD person in me wants something to be sharp. I can honestly say I like some of your others more than this one. I still like this shot but in this case the car in the mid-ground area seems to be a bit sharp, at least compared to everything else, and your eye is pulled to it due to the headlights but I don't really feel like this is supposed to be a photograph of that car and so I feel like there is something missing. Not a clear subject for me.
I like the mood and it makes me think of warm summer evenings in the city. The lighting is very "dusk" if that makes sense and I like that.
A fine critique iggy - many thx.
