This is a discussion on Vanishing Wood within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; ...
That's one nice old wooden bridge - love the lines and shapes in its surface. I wish the depth of field had allowed the bottom of the shot to be in focus, so this shot would work even better for me if the lower part were cropped out, resulting in a panorama style pic. Also, I like your low shooting position.
You do know that this is our assignment topic this month April 2013 - Vanishing point perspective

Thanks everybody. I agree Doug. While doing the post processing, I wished I had another shot focusing on the near elements; both shots could have been mixed. The camera was actually on the floor when I did this.
Marko, about the assignment, I took this last week before this was public. Coincidence!
I love that low perspective. I too would have liked a bit more focus in the immediate foreground. Looks like this is the perfect type of picture for the technique in the last podcast.
