Default Wonderland at The Bow, Calgary

Several others already posted photos here of this new statue in Calgary called Wonderland, placed in front of the tallest building in Western Canada, The Bow. The artist is a well known Spanish sculptor, Jaume Plensa, and its name is reference to Alice in Wonderland, although I can't tell if it's a man or a woman, girl or boy, myself. What I found most intriguing is the way it appears suddenly as you turn a corner or walk down the street, or drive in front of it. I couldn't help but turn and stare. It looks different every time I've been there, depending on the light (as photographers know). I was a bit afraid to walk inside, but sometime....

Cool shots, Mike. When I first saw it, I was like, "Woah! how cool is that?" Love the first shot. That is an angle I have not seen before so I am going to have to go back there and have another look around.

#2 with that reflection is soooooo cool, and love that last one with the dark background and the lighting. Very well done, and a new perspective on this sculpture that I really like.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
