This sing needs an explanation: The drive is over a lava bed. Not a road. Again: lava bed. So there is the famous Aa, the sharp, cutting lava, that one that can shred even a sturdy tire. And as far as term: "road" is concerned, well, there isn't any. Unimproved or otherwise. People just drive along a somewhat laid out pathway, the way of least sharp rocks. Takes 45 minutes to get there ... in first gear. With someone walking alongside making sure you are not hitting any high spots ... or holes ... Not sure about all the other things that are prohibited here ... I did not know there was such a thing a nonalcoholic beverage ... and if you want to camp there .. well, it's hot, rocky and not very comfortable. Open fires: well, it is hot enough even in the winter month ... By all means, bring your seeing eye dog, the scenery is wonderful .... vessels? Do they mean drinking cups or boats? On that "road" only an idiot would take a boat trailer ...And please remove all the rocks and sand from your shoes and other parts before leaving the park. Commercial activities? So you cannot sell your "medicinal" grass there, apparently ... Why nudity is prohibited eludes me, it would ensure no rocks or sand would be taken out ...
