    I would have guessed it was thread if you didn't mention they were lights, very cool abstract.

    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thank you for your replies. From my office on the 21st floor I used my 70-300 lens to frame the lights of an area with many buildings. I was panning horizontally when I took it. The exposure time was 2.5 sec, f/5.6, ISO 1600. Finally, a bit of Photoshop to crop and enhance the colors.
