And I agree as well but that burger shack doesn't look very "mundane" to me.
Thanks all. I'm always trying to capture these high contrast night scenes and try to duplicate as close as possible how the eye perceives it. This was the D7000 @ 800 iso using the Sigma 10-20 mm f3.5. This camera was going to replace the D300s but it seems to me they are both different machines.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Very cool Michael. That looks like a burger joint with character. Nicely done in achieving your goal of duplicating how the eye would see it. The image is just how I would perceive it would look.
