Either by choice or out of necessity, a rather unique perspective. I like the exposure in the second.

I think I prefer the first one here Marko.

To me, the frame (bridge & fence) is very obvious in the 2nd and the attention is taken away from the fire works. The bridge becomes the subject of the image (with fireworks in the background). I dont think this is helped by the centre of the burst being behind the bridge. My eyes are drawn to the top left.

In the first one I like the centre of the fireworks burst being at the heads of watchers which focuses the attention at that point. I also like the variety of colors, and suggestion of movement .

Just my few thoughts for what they are worth.
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

Both are nice for me but if I have to chose, I go for the second one for the framing, exposure and trailing of the firework.

I am sure it's a dump question but out of curiosity, what is the Greece and the switzerland(previous post) in your title? Thinking this was shot in Montreal.

Thanks so much for the comments.

Yisehaq - this is my fault the Thread title should have read Montreal International Fireworks festival. It's a festival in Montreal that goes on for about a month with different countries showing off their fireworks on different nights.

I prefer the silhouettes and colour of the first one, and the feathery fireworks in the 2nd one. Over all I prefer the first on.

I like both. But I prefer the second. It is nothing I have ever seen before and it tells a bit of a story. I just enjoy looking all around in the photo.
