    Default Commemorative Sculpture Of Survival

    This sculpture is located about 1 hr. south of us along the shores of the beautiful town of Haileybury. It depicts how the people tried to survive the great fire of 1922 by covering themselves with wet blankets and wading into the frigid waters of lake Timiskaming.

    Thank you for sharing the link too! To see the fortitude of a man (George)doing what it took to protect his home is amazing. The sculpture is quite special, indeed.
