HDR? Wonderful treatment if used! I love that what seems to be a place that during the daytime would be a hustle and bustle of activity shows the lone walker - perhaps beating the rush of traffic and good use of time of day, then off to his busy work day. Great image, Michael. :-)
Thanks Susan...I don't use HDR as such anymore, haven't for a couple of years. I shoot RAW and push stuff a bit in the RAW editor to bring out the detail in highs and lows. I then work on the JPG with dodge and burn tools and selective colour adjustments after that. I don't like the end results of programs like Photomatix such as light fringing around cables and wires.
I'm not sure why... maybe the sharpness of the land structures against the softness of the clouds- it almost seems like I can see those clouds moving toward me. Striking!
A very excellent shot of the boardwalk, Michael. Nicely done.
Another very nice capture Michael. Very well done again.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
