    Default Bella Dona Chapel

I have been experimenting off and on with different styles of HDR. Here is one of a local chapel used mostly for weddings. Unfortunately, they recently started charging $25US to take pictures of the outside! Needless to say, I won't be returning there soon.

Overall I like the image. The leading lines from the bridge to the chapel, the dramatic sky and most of the colors work well for me.

I am conflicted about the orange above the doorway and along the roof line. On the one hand, I like the way it draws and anchors the eye. The leading lines, mass, and color all point to the building as the subject. On the other hand, it may be a bit overdone. What do you think? How would you improve this image?

it's a little pushed for my personal taste, but even so, its a very striking image, Might work equally as well as a black and white?

Dan - I have to agree with Richard the colour is a little over the top for me, but the B&W is worth a frame on the wall.

I like them both but I do prefer the b/w. Looks like a great location. Have you got any from further out?

Really likin' that b&w version as well.

The B&W for me too. I didn't like the strong blue cast in the colour version.

Ditto here too, the BW one is really, really, great!

Although sometimes I agree the dramatic impact of HDR outweighs the artificial colours you so often get out of it, the colour version here was too saturated for my taste. I was smiling that you were worried about overdoing the orange roof tiles when the sky is that electric blue

$25 seems like highway robbery. I assume they own the bridge you took this from?
