Back from the visit to my family in Germany. Took a three day tour to see various nephews and nieces, and stopped by the monastery in Andechs, Bavaria. This is close to Munich, and quite a place. Apart from being a monastery, their monks truly have perfected the art of beer brewing there. There was this "pilgrim" explaining to me the history of the church since its inception - needless to say he visited the beer garden first, and then stepped into the church! But I digressed. This is a vertical pano of the interior of the church of the monastery. Got to get me a tilt/shift lens ... hard to do a vertical on 17mm focal length, especially in a rather dark church with long exposure (forgot to take my remote with me, so I had to use the self timer ). Lots of distortion. Oh well ... but I thought I show you a couple of images from this place, anyway.
and this is a straight shot, not a pano.
