After a resent trip to Niagara Falls, I now know why they named the Rainbow Bridge.
The bridge was officially opened on November 1, 1941.

Cool ... so I guess the mist from the falls creates this on sunny days?
Definitely appropriately named, by looking at this shot.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Thanks HBG and Mad Aussie, yes there is tons of mist coming off both falls, so you just have to get the right angle for a rainbow.

Nicely caught. Certainly fits with the name of the bridge.
nicely done XP - I live about 15 minutes from here by car (don't shoot down there often because of the crowds and the ridiculous price to park).

Looks like you used a polarizer, Good on ya; they make rainbows pop!

Thanks asnow.
edG, ya $18 to park near the falls is nuts, I just walked from our hotel, but it was a lot.... of walking.
Marko, no polarizer used, I did play around in Lightroom to try and make the rainbow pop a bit.
I played with the exposure also in lightroom. Any comments about the exposure would be welcome, good or bad.

Ya fooled me then - thought u used a polarizer. maybe try one the next time you see a rainbow so you'll see what i mean. Without a doubt the polarizer is my most valuable accessory - ok maybe it goes head to head with the tripod...but still very valuable.
In terms of exposure, the image as a whole seems a good stop underexposed to my eye.
Hope that may help - Marko

Good call on the exposure Marko. I set it to -0.78 in lightroom.
